In episode 16, although the biblical sign indicating the Second Coming appears to be unmistakable, we will discuss some of the many forms that people have speculated the final sign of the sun, moon, and stars will take.

Episode 14: The Return of Jesus Will Not Take Place In Secret

In Episode 14 in the Watch! series of the Called-Out Café it becomes obvious that the return of Jesus will not take place in secret. By comparing scripture with scripture, we see that many passages pertaining to the end of the age are dealing with the same events. When we overlay those scripture pertaining to the same events, we can begin to fill in some biblical details surrounding Jesus’s return.

In this episode of the Called-Out Café, we have reached the point in Jesus’s Olivet Discourse where He speaks about what to do when the Antichrist is revealed in Jerusalem. He has specific instructions for those living in the region of Judea. What does it mean for the rest of the world?

Episode 12: The Foul and Detestable Thing

In this episode of the Called-Out Café, we talk about one of the biggest, most unmistakable signs Jesus gave us during His Olivet Discourse that will precede His Second Coming: the revealing of the Antichrist, and the foul and detestable act he will commit known as the “Abomination of Desolation.” As a part of this discussion, we will look at an alternative of what is usually translated as a parenthetical, almost out of place, statement: “let the reader understand.”  

Episode 11 of the Watch! Series: Recycling and Prophecy

Some prophecies given in the Bible appear to have been "fulfilled" in the past, yet they are tied to the return of Jesus in the future.   What is going on? All  prophecy related to the End of the Age and Second Coming, have an "ultimate" fulfillment yet in the future.  However, some prophecies may have more than one fulfillment. At least one important prophecy represents several "cycles" of fulfillment.  This is the case with the sign Jesus will speak of next in the Olivet Discourse. Episode 10 of the Watch! Series: Preaching the Gospel to the Whole World Before Jesus Returns, and "the Mystery."

In episode 10 of the Watch! series, of the Called Out Café podcast, we have reached the point in the Olivet Discourse in which Jesus tells His disciples that His return will only take place after “this gospel has been proclaimed to the whole world.”  Just exactly what could He have meant by that? There might be more to it than what appears on the surface. Could Jesus's statement have anything to do with "the mystery" that the Apostle Paul wrote about?  Lets take a look at it.

In this episode of the Called-Out Café, our study of Jesus's Olivet Discourse continues. Jesus zeroes in on a future time in which many false prophets will arise, many will fall away from the faith, and as a result "the love of most will grow cold." Some would say those things sound really familiar!  For those of us who belong to Jesus, this is one of the things He wants us to be prepared for. Don't worry, there is good news: those who remain faithful "will be saved."  God is good!

Episode 8: Falling Away From The Faith

During His talk on the Mount of Olives with His disciples concerning His return and the end of this age, Jesus warned of persecution associated with that time, directed at those who bear His name, that will be so severe as to result in a pronounced “falling away” from faith in Him. In this episode of the Called-Out Café we will look at that event.
