Leaving the Church to Follow Jesus Episode 6: The Ekklesia according to the Gospel of Matthew continued.

This time on the Called-Out Café Podcast we continue with the series titled “Leaving the Church to follow Jesus.” We will be looking at what the Gospel of Matthew and related scriptures have to say about the purpose and function of the authentic Called-Out ones of Jesus when they gather. We will talk about things such as how there is no scriptural basis for meeting on Sundays, nothing in the gospels supporting paying a pastor, how not everyone is called to be an evangelist, how it is “anti-biblical” to cling to human traditions in the church, and how we should not be calling attention to any good works we are a part of, among other topics.
