In the days of the Old Testament, we are told that the people of God so far off track to the point that they had set up idols and places for prostitution in the Temple in Jerusalem. This was under the direct supervision of the religious authorities. The solution for getting back on track came in the form of the rediscovery of the Holy Scriptures which had been found covered in dust. The same is true for us today.
